Not knowing much about marine technical jobs, and being just out of high school with some shop welding experience, I needed to know more to decide if this industry was right for me.
I was a walk-in at the Advanced Technical office on Royal Street, and I was greeted by a recruiter when I walked in the door. She helped me understand the options, helped me find the right fit to start learning, and working.
It was a good experience for a kid just out of high school, just beginning to explore full time employment in a great industry, with a great employer!
